July 2019 Standing Desk Construction Initiative

Championed by Benjamin Bogues from Boy Scout Troop 5 the Brookfield Education Foundation funded the Standing Desks Program.  Standing desks help engage students with certain accommodations or disabilities related to trouble focusing in class. By incorporating the desks throughout many parts of the class (lectures, group activities, assessments, classwork, etc.) they can also help positively enhance the education of students.  Benefits of the desk will be tracked throughout the year and presented to BHS Administration in July 2020.
