In a major grant from the BEF, BHS Champions and English teachers, Trish O’Connor and Kelly Nichols, will establish an ongoing International Exchange for BHS students which focuses on leadership and writing. Working in tandem with the Girls Leading Our World (GLOW) Association, created by Peace Corps Volunteers, adult leaders will form a group of BHS girls to be trained in leadership and self-expression through writing and technology, in order to facilitate future workshops and training of other BHS students. The students will create and maintain a website to publish and share their creative writing and stories.
