The
Foundation is looking to fund Community and School Mini-Grant projects.
BEF provides quick
funding for small projects through its Mini-Grant programs. It has two
Mini-Grant programs: the Community Mini-Grant program for the Brookfield
community, and the K-12 Mini-Grant program for schools.
Community
Mini-Grants
The Community Mini-Grant
Program provides funding for community educational projects. This program
aims to stimulate interest in learning, foster creativity, and encourage
the exploration of concepts, ideas and principles.
Four or more Community
Mini-Grants will be awarded each calendar year. Individual grant requests
should not exceed $500. For more information on the Community Mini-Grant

K-12
Mini-Grants for Schools
The purpose of the
K-12 Mini-Grant Program is to provide funding for classroom or school
library educational projects. Through this funding, the Mini-Grant Program
aims to enhance classroom experiences, stimulate interest in learning,
foster creativity, and encourage the exploration of concepts, ideas
and principles beyond the core curriculum.
Four or more K-12
Mini-Grants will be awarded each school year. Individual grant requests
should not exceed $500. Exceptions may be made if the Mini-Grant Committee
views the proposal as having exceptional merit.
